Sorry folks, this was a very busy week, and this face never got finished. But I liked one comment that said it was fine as it is, so I’m going with that and calling it done. I did do a little sanding on it this week, does that count?
Nicole DVArtist, Gene Back Alabama Artist and Quilter and I are posting a new hand-sculpted clay face each Friday. Don’t forget to visit theirs!
Very nice start my friend. I did post a quickie and included Gene. I think this might turn out to be something bloggers like.
I like it!
I think this is well on its way to a great face. I like that you and Nicole have found another person to make these clay faces, too. I'm sure the spirit will move (or guide) you to complete this face by next Friday.
I like it "as is" - it let's the viewer "finish it" any way they please - ;))

I like this one too. He almost looks like he could be an alien.
He or she is very cute. I think I've felt like this face looks!
Fun start for a face. I don't know where I would take it, but your creativity will guide you to a finish. Just PLAY.
I like the beginning of your face.Have a nice weekend!
Hopped here from Nicole's blog. Your face is cool Barbara 😊
Love this face. It makes me smile.
This face has so much character. The crook of the mouth is wonderful.
I've loved scrolling down looking at your faces Barbara, Nicole sent me over here. All with sweet expressions but I'm very drawn to this one more than any, he looks like he's the weight of the world on his shoulders and in need of a good cuddle. Fabulous work creative wishes Tracey x
