“Full Snow Moon” Spirit Doll for February

The February full moon passed unnoticed here probably due to recent cloudy and snowy weather. It’s a couple days late, but here is my Native American spirit doll for February, usually the snowiest month. I sculpted and baked a young face from polymer clay hoping it would reflect the fun of playing in the snow. Again, there is a sprig of dried sage inside and a Swarovski glass crystal on the outside (hanging with the charms).

  6. It’s beautiful! Sometimes I’ve heard the February full moon called the hunger moon, food gets scarce at this time of year for man and beast, sadly the clouds prevented our viewing also, thank you for showing us your beautiful creation.

  7. Absolutely perfect. Although it was cloudy, the clouds subsided after awhile and I saw that very bright full moon from my computer desk. However, it dimmed in comparison to your spirit doll for February. Such amazing attention to detail and lots of love obviously went into making her.
