Cornfield

“Cornfield”

I planned to paint an abstract, but this took on the look of a something else instead.
That happens to me a lot, I don’t think abstracts are my thing. I always end up with a painting reminding me of *something*.

  3. I think this cornfield has an abstract quality. I don't really understand a lot of abstract art, so I enjoy at least being able to tell what a painting is about. Nice job! Hugs-Erika

  6. Abstracts are allowed to "remind you of something." This still has an abstract feel, but I get "cornstalks" from it also.
This one is great for October, it reminds me of "Children of the Corn."

  8. I can't believe how far behind I've gotten. I apologize for taking so long to get here. I absolutely ADORE this cornfield. It looks exactly like the ones in western Kansas. You may have started with an abstract, but it turned into a genuine gem. Again, SO sorry I'm running so far behind this week.
